| Hello from down under! Hey everyone! I think I've lurked long enough, and I didn't want my first post to be about the subwoofer I recently built (that will be my second past )Brief about me: Electrician by trade but currently working in pneumatics. Been into things electrical and electronic since being aged in the single digits! From a musical family, used to play the organ (used to because I can't fit mine in the house we're at!) and did a few stints on the sound desk and setup at school functions and performances (almost a decade ago now!) Why I'm here: As my brief probably indicated, I have an interest in sound, sound systems, and home theatre After deciding that the tiny speakers that came with my All-In-1 Panasonic system were....tiny, especially with the new sub, I'm now researching as much as I can find to build a set of speakers for surround and music, including crossovers, Zobels, driver arrangement, etc etc. Plan is for a set of mains that will keep up with the sub, a centre that will keep up with the mains, and surrounds that will just keep up, either through number or sheer size And then of course all the gadgets to follow ![]() Cya's around!
