Hello from Moscow, Russia

Hi everybody,

It's not that cold here as many of you may suppose. I am a music lover from the very childhood, but as we recently built a house large enough to accommodate our lifetime dreams, I may finally put my love into practice by building a decent listening room.

I am a physicist (while not really practicing) so I hope to learn fast things that I will need. I also have recently purchased some equipment (sound level meter and a omnidirectional measurement microphone) to help me with practical steps.

Look forward to talking to knowledgeable people here in the forum.

Did you see "Run for Cover" (I'm not sure what the Russian translation was) which was the
US 3-D movie that played in Moscow for about two years back in the mid-nineties? It was
about terrorists on the loose in NYC.
