Beware, Beware BEWARE this BRAND September 10, 2008 Amazon Hunter (Vermont) I don't own this specific model but we did purchase a 32" LT32323 Widescreen HDTV LCD with Integrated NTSC and ATSC TV Tuner this past April. It definitely seemed worth the money HOWEVER the picture stopped working completely last week. We contacted where we bought it[..] and they were completely USELESS even giving me the WRONG contact information after telling me that they can not help me. I will never use them again after the way they handled my inquiries about how to return or replace the television. They could care less and simply directed me to their Returns not valid after 14 days policy page. br / br /Finally after some GOOGLEing I successfully contacted the (China) Manufacturers representative here in America, Corion USA out in California at (800) 278-6334 for support. br / br /Although it started out quite promising it quickly grew more than a little frustrating (they seem only used to dealing with people that have made purchase through HSN Network). After faxing (costing me again in long distance) proof of purchase to their office, they finally told me they would stand behind the product and get back with me upon checking things out. br / br /No one called me back and I left the rep voicemail for the next three days. Being increasingly annoyed I eventually stopped calling Dean and grabbed the next poor soul that answered the phone. He (Austin) assured me he could certainly help me. Help me indeed lol... br / br /Unfortunately, here is the catch.... br / br /They want me to ship the DEFECTIVE TV back to them (at my cost) and at that point they will then send me a new replacement TV, however they are charging me for the shipment of THAT UNIT AS WELL. In addition, to make matters worse, because their company stopped making the defective model Corion initially wanted to charge me another $100 to send an "upgraded" unit. What a load of crap. I don't need the upgraded features I only want what I paid for in the first place to work more than a few YEARS, (let alone MONTHS). br / br /I eventually wound up with a supervisor and we eventually came to somewhat of an agreement. I won't say I am happy because there is NO guarantee the next unit will be any better than the first and I will be stuck in this process all over again. Bottom line is go buy in person at a brick and mortar store a name you can rely on. Even if you spend an additional couple hundred dollars you simply have to take the defective unit back to the store and walk out with a new one the same day. This is so ridiculous, I will NEVER take the chance again. My last TV was a Magnavox that lasted me 14 YEARS!!! I am going to go get my head examined.
Stay Away from this Brand August 19, 2008 JLK (Boston, MA) I would stay away from this brand. I purchased the 26 inch version of this TV, and after 3 weeks of use, this seemingly beautiful TV for the money stopped working. The TV is completely unusable....no screen, no reponse, nothing. Spend the extra money and buy a brand that will stand behind their product.
Buy a more common brand July 1, 2008 A. Dell (Seattle, WA USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I absolutely loved my TV when I first bought it. Excellent picture. It felt bigger than a 32" because of the side speakers -- excellent sound. I was extremely happy and would have given it 5 stars. After about 6 months, the video started flickering. Within a few more weeks, the visual aspect of the TV stopped working at all. Because it is an uncommon brand, most TV repair places wouldn't take it. Shipping it in out of pocket would have been extremely expensive. I finally found a place that would take it and found out this TV is a lemon. The repair guy said many flat screens have overheating problems, which is what destroyed my video board. $350 to fix. Buy your TV in-store so you have somewhere that will take it back.
Great Television!! April 25, 2008 Dwight Anderson (Detroit,Mi USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have this television(FA2B-32072)and I love it! The model I have has two HDMI inputs! I've only had it for a couple of weeks but so far I'm very impressed. The set performs just as well as some of the other established brands. It's far less expensive than the so called "brand names". I'm no expert in technology or in HDTV sets but this one is just as good as those that I've seen selling for twice the price! It has a fantastic picture and the sound is very good, even without a home theater. I have it connected to my digital cable box and the picture just blows me away! The colors are very bright and vivid. I can see details that I never saw on my 32" Sanyo CRT. This is my first plunge into the world of HDTV sets. I've been researching and comparing brands since before Christmas. I was a little leary of buying this set because I'm wasn't familar with Digital Lifestyles. I finally got tired of reseaching/waiting and took the plunge. I figured if it didn't work out I could return the television. I'm glad I took the chance on Digital Lifestyles. The television has surpassed all my expectations so far! It's very sleek looking. The gloss finish looks very elegant and the set's very light weight. That's a nice change from my heavy Sanyo. I can move this set easily from room to room in my home without the strain I experienced when trying to move my old set. Those CRTS weigh a ton. Digital Lifestyles telephone customer support has been wonderfully helpful. Keep in mind when you call with questions/help that the company is in on Pacific time. This may be a relatively new and unknown company but if this television set is any indication they should be around for some time to come. If you're in the market for a new HDTV set I would strongly recommend giving the Digital Lifestyles set a try. If you're set on a well known "brand name" then this television isn't the right one for you. Keep in mind though that every company was a new company at some point in time. They all had to start somewhere. In my opinion Digital Lifestyles is off to a very good start.
