This is one heck of a value that competes with products triple the price. The reviewer complaining about the lack of HDMI does not understand DVI. If you go to the Outlaw website, you will see an in depth explanation about why, for good reason, Outlaw went with DVI over HDMI. I have used this preamp with a DVI/HDMI converter to my HDMI projector for years. No problems. A highly tweakable unit, too, with a pure sound. Highly recommended.

i'm really interested in the new Outlaw reciever which from what i've read will finally have hdmi switching instead of DVI. Why they would choose a bulky connection of dvi for their video one can only speculate.
HDMI is here to stay Outlaw. They do have nice sound; but they are pricey.
