This home cinema takes a little setting up, and is generally best for Bravia tv owners.
Once set up it is really great. The subwoofer growls and the other 5 speakers are of brilliant quality, giving off crystal clear sound.
The dav-dz280 is good value for money i would recomend this home cinema to everyone. Works on ps3, tv, and dvd great alround system.
Amazing Product Buy it today.

I have just received and set up my Sony Home Cinema, and noticed a mixed bunch of ratings. I followed the advice from M Dingwall posted in Aug 09 and set up scart from Home Cinema to TV scart 1 and Sky to TV scart 2. TV, SKY and DVD's all work with the surround sound and it is very impressive. Just to cap it off, I set up my X-Box using the red/yellow/white jacks and contary to everyone else's reviews about gaming systems not working and having to send the system back etc etc.... - it does work. My only negative is that the instructions should include this set up in a more user friendly manner.

The sound quality is absolutely amazing,DVD`s make the room shake, have only dared put volume up to 60% cos I think it would smash the windows if turned up any higher.
Who wants surround sound for conventional TV programmes ?
No you can`t have surround sound for PS3 either but you will not care once you stick your Ipod in and turn up the volume you will be glad you bought it
