I had bought a great 37 inch TV with HD picture quality by Panasonic, but the sound... oh dear! Flat or what? Solution - connect a pair of these speakers to the headphone socket and the sound fits the TV - why don't Panasonic, Sony and others put in decent speakers? Is it that hard? I have also wired up the TV and new speakers to a remote control plug so that both come on when the single button is pressed - so not even left in stand-by when not being used. As others have said, there is a bright light on the front of the speakers - my solution was to hole punch a piece of duct tape and place it over the light which has the effect of giving it a soft glow. Sorted.

Not a lot to add to the other reviews really. These are well built speakers and deliver a good sound for the price. You can get better quality sound, but then you will be paying better quality prices!
Some reviews mention lack of bass, depth and that they sound tinny, but I have not found that to be the case. I have a wide taste in music and I have found them to be adequate for my needs. Set up is easy, plug in and play with controls on the front of the speaker making for easy control.
They are not a sizeable unit as some suggest (maybe they have extremely small desks!!), but more chunky with a pleasing weight that suggests build quality and longevity (we shall see).
Overall pleasantly surprising sound for the price, I would recommend these to anyone that wants a decent sounding small speaker without paying way over the odds. Good product, go get them, you can't go far wrong for £15!

I purchased these speakers to add to my laptop for improving the sound of DVD's being watched abroad. I was surprised by the quality of the product for it's price. Although not perfect for DVD's, good sound quality and output.
