I will admit the Les Elgart band was known for Bandstand Boogie, the theme song for American Bandstand for many years. He showcases more of his wonderful work with It's DeLovely, Scotch Hop, and my favorite "I Concentrate On You". You can't go wrong with a collection like this!!!

Both of these albums have been among my favorites. Noted songs are Cherokee, When I Take My Sugar To Tea, It's De-loveley,Off Shore, Scotch Hop, and I Concentrate On You. If you like the Elgart touch to music, you need this twofer.

If you know the orch., and don't have this one, buy it! In point of fact, buy all of their CD's that are out. You'll kick yourself if you don't and they go out of print! The Elgart discs and the Sauter-Finnigan group are a must have for anyone who appreciates big bands and fine arranging. Aloha
