Wow, I wasn't sure how much better this version would be over the DVD counterpart but man was I impressed. everything was at least 10x better than the original. Besides, how could you beat the $34 price tag with free two day shipping (I have amazon prime). If you have both an HD DVD player and a Blu-ray player like me, it makes no sense to get the more expensive blu-ray version when you can have the exact same thing for half the price. Anyone who tells you that one is better than the other is wrong and doesn't know what their talking about! If you are a fan of the Matrix, this is a MUST buy!

I first saw these movies years ago when they first came out and at that time I didn't think much of them. br /My son is a fan, so I bought the HD DVD box set for him as a gift and I have to say, this time around I was mightily impressed. The special effects and the True HD soundtrack are brilliant, and I enjoyed the story this time around. br /If you have a HD DVD player, these are well worth the investment, superb audio and visual with non stop action, a great combination.
