From the executive producers of The West Wing comes Journeyman, a romantic mystery-drama about Dan Vasser (Kevin McKidd, Rome) a San Francisco newspaper reporter and family man who inexplicably begins to travel through time and change the course of people's lives. Along the way, he must also deal with the difficulties and strife at work and home brought on by his sudden disappearances. His freewheeling travels through the decades reunite him with his long-lost fiancee Livia (Moon Bloodgood, Day Break) -- which complicates his blissful, present-day life with his vivacious wife Katie (Gretchen Egolf, Martial Law) and son (Charles Henry Wyson, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button). Reed Diamond (Homicide: Life on the Street) stars as Jack, Dan's cop brother who once dated Katie. Charles Henry Wyson and Brian Howe also star.

5 out of 5 stars NBC made a huge mistake and has lost many fans and infinite profit!   October 11, 2008

Bring back Journeyman! I sorely miss this show this season. I do not understand why people watch "Chuck" or "Life", because these shows really don't have the legs that Journeyman had in the beginning. This is a huge loss for NBC and could have easily been a nine season show due to the shows ability to provide many ideas, concepts by the use of "time travel". Along with "Firefly", one of the best and most honorable "one" season tv shows in history! br / br /If you haven't watched it, you will enjoy it if you like sci-fi, well written scripts/dialogue, and fantastic acting! Truly a treasure that will not be forgotten.

5 out of 5 stars what is nbc thinking   April 13, 2008

This series has such great potential because the writing handles the subject matter so well. Ive since learned that NBC isn't renewing the show.Let's see now, NBC has a science fiction show that is well written and treats its audiance with intellegence. But doesn't give the show time to build an audiance. Where have I heard this before?

I am re-watching all 13 episodes of this show, after seeing them all when they originally aired. I simply love the show, from the excellent cast, especially KevinMcKidd, to the beautiful San Francisco scenery, the music, and the storylines that draw you in and gradually peel away new layers with each episode revealing just the right amount of new information to keep you wanting more. br / br /I will be extremely disappointed if these 13 epsiodes end up being all there is, I am hungry for more and so are many other fans!
