One of the best TV series's in the past few years! August 20, 2008

This series is fantastic! It's based on the books by Cecily von Ziegesar, which I haven't actually read, but if the show is an indication of how good her books are then I will have to start reading them! This series is packed with drama and suspense. Every episode leaves you dieing for the next one to come along.
The series has many smaller story lines inside of one big one. The first is about little Jenny who's trying to fit into the rich popular crowd, despite being younger and not owning all the expensive clothes. The second story line is about Dan, Jenny's older brother, and his relationship with Serena. And the third is the drama between Serena and Blaire after Blaire finds out the before Serena left town she slept with Nate, Blaires boyfriend. Finally there is also a plot involving Rupert, Dan and Jenny's dad, and Lilly, Serena's mom. And Chuck, the player, also adds a lot to the story as it gets more and more complicated.
Of course all this drama leads to even more drama and it all interconnects to make one of the best series's ever! With so many surprises and great characters this show will have you hooked!

The CW show Gossip Girl based on the books by Cecily von Ziegesar is a guilty pleasure. Ed Westwick who play Chuck Bass, the bad boy of the show is a amazing actor and I can't wait for the beginning of season 2 in September. It's a teen drama but I like it even if i'm not a teenager anymore.
