Only Love is Real,But Its painful Too................ May 25, 2004 Tauros (Mumbai) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
- Ok.This is another book by Brian Weiss,After Many Lives,Many Masters.I cant say book is written very well or content is 100% new.It Could've been written better.I was expected more from Brian Weiss. But still book touches heart because of its real love story of soulmates.Weiss explains that it is not neccesarry that we will meet our soulmate in every lifetime. Also it is not neccesarry that they will be our lover only.Soulmates can come in your life as anyone, your father, mother, friend, your daughter or anyone. Assuaring fact is that you will reunite with your soulmate whether it takes 50,100,1000 or 2000 years.Your spirit will recognise them by looking into their eyes. You will be one again. Because only love is Real. There are some Messeges given by Masters which teaches us the lesson we need to learn & they are Wonderful.
A very interesting book February 27, 2003 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I really enjoyed this book. It was a nice, clear overview of the past-life regression theory and practice. I enjoyed the quotes from very notable historical figures at the beginning of each chapter (they lent even more credibility to the subject). I particularly appreciated the "revelations" from the Masters that are sprinkled throughout the story. I even enjoyed the author's opinions on psychic abilities and other delicate subjects. If it wasn't a library book, I would have highlighted several important passages.I would not say I'm totally convinced that the characters actually lived and remembered past lives. The book was sort of fluffy and ethereal as are most books on spiritual/New Age material (they are very hard to translate into day to day reality). But definately something to ponder.
Reassuring February 20, 2003 Caroline Bertorelli (Tokyo) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
ReassuringFor people who feel there must be more to life than just living in the present, Brian Weiss illustrates through his case studies and the messages from above that this is indeed the case. In today's world a lot of people feel lonely and find it hard to find a love that is completely fulfilling in all aspects - body, mind and soul. This book shows us that love is there always, and that we will be guided to it when the time is right for us. Our life - or rather lives - on earth are for a specific learning purpose, and once we accept this, and that there are our families of soulmates either here on earth or above to help us always, we can be reassured that we are not alone ever. This book is not just about finding perfect love, but how opening our hearts will draw the right thing to us, be it love or other things in our lives.
Could've been better written February 13, 2003 Angelea (Lea Dimarucut-Evangelista) (Clifton, NJ United States) I've always loved books that illustrate true-life synchronicity and its wonders. I found ONLY LOVE IS REAL's story of Elizabeth and Pedro to be fascinating. It did not excite me as much as I hoped it would though. It's all in the presentation. I didn't find myself on the edge of my seat and could very well have put the book down if it weren't such a quick read.Nevertheless, pick up a copy if you are into reincarnation. While you're at it, you might also want to check out Dr. Bruce Goldberg's PAST LIVES, FUTURE LIVES. In this more enthralling book is a case very, very similar to (yet MARKEDLY different from) Weiss's Pedro and Elizabeth.
So where are these people then? January 15, 2003 This is a wonderful 'true' story of soulmates meeting, but, er, where are they then? Where are the books, the movies, the fame, the fortune, the TV appearances on Oprah?Weiss says he can't reveal their identity because of patient confidentiality, but what is stopping them revealing themselves?
