Simly "wow"! August 27, 2008 Dia (Ontario, Canada) Have to say that i fell in love with this book and read it in a day! Couldn't go back to my life because I had to know how the book will end! br /Wonderful love story! So touching, so real!
Great Read!! August 14, 2008 A. Gies This is a great read! I read this book very quickly as I had a hard time putting it down. The story between Rachel and Darcy was one that you soon won't forget. It makes you think of your own relationships with your friends. Sometimes love trumps friendship, and sometimes friendship trumps love. It is a great story of lust and love and going after what you want in life.
something borrowed August 5, 2008 K. Warren I loved this book and I could not put it down and it kept me turning the pages. It's a good book for anyone who's getting engaged, married, and in a relationship. I did find that Darcy was a very female doggish woman and I never liked her. She is to spoiled but was best friends with Rachel. I felt really bad for Rachel and the whole affair with Dex. I liked Rachel's character. I liked the humour throughout the novel. I did not like the minor sexual scenes. The whole love triangles were twisted and odd. I never thought that Darcy and Dexter were not gonna end up marrying one another in the end. I was surprised and disappointed that the whole engagement ring and the wedding dress and event costs became a complete waste and that so much money was spent. br / br /I had finished this novel in only days because it was an easy read. I also liked the fact that there are book club questions to answer as an optional choice that relates to the story.
FANTASTIC!!! May 26, 2008 Alexandra S. (Toronto, ON Canada) I actually couldn't put this book down and read it in 2 days. I couldn't believe what Rachel did at first but then found myself routing for her and Dex mid-way through their affair.
Absolutely LOVED it!! November 11, 2007 A. Scott (Toronto) I wasn't expecting to like this book, I thought how could I like a character who sleeps with her best friends fiance, but I loved it! It made me laugh and it also had me reaching for the kleenex! Rachel is the good girl, has never done a bad thing in her life, always putting her best friends needs ahead of her own, but one night that all changes, she gets drunk and sleeps with Dex, her best friend Darcy's fiance. I didn't think I could root for Rachel, but Darcy is so self absorbed and competes on every level with Rachel, that I wanted Dex to choose Rachel instead of Darcy. br / br /I would also recommend reading Something Blue, which tells the story from Darcy's prospective.
