This is my third Jari Love dvd and every time all I can say is wow! If you consisently do these workouts, do cardio and watch what you eat (Jari makes reference to diet several times), you will see results in weeks. I am seeing results after doing these videos with cardio for almost two months and I have dropped a few sizes.

Jari is not intimidating at all and she and her Ripped students provide modifications for all levels from beginner to advanced. They even do modifications for those with shoulder problems and things of the like and Jari goes as far to make additional suggestions. As she says, she wants everyone to get results even if they have knee or shoulder problems. What I also really like is how each exercise begins with a narration and demonstration that gives pointers on proper form and technique. These narrations are just long enough for you to understand what you are going to do next and also just enough rest time between exercises (maybe 30 or 40 seconds or so?)

As Christina from Vancouver wrote in her review of November 4, 2006, the exercises in order are:

Reverse lunge and side squat
Spider and pushups
Chest press with hips raised
Bent leg deadlift & bicep curl
Wide squat & upright row
Stiff leg deadlift with lat row
Squat with lat raise, narrow squat with anterior raise
Step ups with overhead press
Tricep kickback with core work
Abs
Stretch

Also check out the extras. The interview with Corey, the exercise physiologist is very informative and the bloopers are just hilarious! Overall, the video is a lot of fun that makes the challenge of working out well worth your while.

If you are looking to get out of your plateau any of Jari's video will do it, including this one. I have been working out for years. I love her videos and I have noticed a change in my body. Her videos are tough but so worth it! If you are always looking for a challenge, you'll really appreciate Jari's Get Ripped videos. Enjoy!

This is the workout that will give you the results you want. I could really see a difference with in just a few weeks. I feel stronger and feel better about myself.

I have worked out my entire life and have always been a fit individual. I am getting married in June 2007 and one day came across the Jari Love's `Ripped Program' in Calgary, AB., Canada. So without any hesitation I thought I would sign up for the Challenge and also tried to recruit about three other friends. However, my best friend, Cindy was the only one able and willing to join. I would've joined even if none of my friends would also join because I really want to loose about 10 lbs. by my wedding date and am very determined to do it.
So needless to say, I have tried Jari Love's 'Ripped to the Core' and I was impressed!
I have now been on the `Ripped Challenge Program' for about 1 week and started at an `advanced' level since I work out about 1 to 1 and a half hours per day and have been for most of my life. This video is very well put together and I really enjoyed the encouragement Ms. Love gives to the viewer because I believe that is key in any program - to have someone to support you and tell you how well you are doing, and really shows you that doing proper exercises will achieve the results you want. As she says "You are worth it!"
She is a breath of fresh air and I also like the fact that she comments on how hard the exercises are and even though she is feeling `the burn' she keeps going, which shows to us at home that we can do it too.
I have to be honest and say that I have not done any of her other tapes, since I work out at my gym at work and often attend the classes there. I also do cardio every 2nd day (for at least one hour) and have not gotten around to doing any of her other videos. I do know that when I do get around to doing her other videos I will be back to make another review.
This video incorporates core stability, strength, and agility. It is simple to do and does not require a lot of extra materials - the use of weights (low or high, depending on your progression) a mat (which really is not required) and a stepper. The video is easy to follow and it shows you the proper workout prior to even starting the actual workout, which is a terrific idea to do. I really enjoyed the video and I can tell you even someone like me who is quite fit got tired at certain points and felt `the burn'. I know you will see results from this video. Just stick to doing the video and will achieve the results! You can do it and if you ever think that you can't keep going I suggest that you just put in the DVD and look at Jari Love's body...that should be incentive enough, because if she looks like THAT - amazing body, you can too!

Every time I do this workout, it kicks my behind! Jari makes effective use of compound exercises to work the muscles and elevate the heart rate. As with the other workouts from Jari, there is someone demonstrating the modified version of all the exercises. You can adjust the workout to suit your fitness level. Jari also constantly provides form pointers, and is also very encouraging
