Customer Reviews:

3 out of 5 stars Great for someone with little or no exercise experience   August 12, 2008
I bought this DVD as an introduction to working out on the ball. I've been doing pilates for years and want to take it to the next step, but find using the ball difficult. Unfortunately, this is not the DVD for me. It's way too easy, and although some of the exercises do create a little burn, there are stretch/rest periods after almost every set. Also, the sets are very short, usually with 5 reps or less. The "challenge" portion of the DVD is simply sample pilates ball exercises from another DVD, with about 3 minutes for each body area. So the product description is a bit misleading.

However, if you are someone who is starting out on core-type workouts, you might enjoy this DVD. The instructor gives clear and simple instructions that are easy to follow. The exercises are not difficult and each portion (warm-up, balance, abs, legs, arms) has its own workout, so you can pick and choose what you want or just do them all.
