2 out of 5 stars The only challenge experienced was with learning the steps...   September 14, 2008
Daina E. Morrison (Edmonton, AB)
I would have liked for this video to be more of a workout. It gets you moving but as soon as you start feeling the heart rate increasing she stops to incorporate another step or move. Perhaps you are all more coordinated than I (probably) but I found the choreography to be quite challenging and too fast to follow. Definitely not a "bang for your buck" video. Choose something else if you want fast results, I did.

3 out of 5 stars confusing   June 17, 2008

i didn't really like this one. it makes you sweat but the steps are really confusing. the instructor doesn't really give you much direction. if you keep up at it. it would be a good work out. but you gotta learn all the steps first.

5 out of 5 stars Easy to follow with lots of variety   January 25, 2008
M. Traverse (Calgary, Ab Canada)
The dance steps in this video were easy to learn. The variety of different dances you do in the workout help the time to go by faster and make it feel like you haven't been working out at all. I enjoyed this work-out and still use it a year after I bought it.

5 out of 5 stars Nice workout   September 16, 2007

Great for a change! You work really hard and work up a good sweat. This video isn't really for beginners, I don't think because it would be hard to catch up at first. However, for intermediates it's great because she goes over the steps enough times for you to catch on quickly. I use this tape to break up my routine when i get bored and it's SO MUCH fun!

4 out of 5 stars pretty good!   August 2, 2007

Great cardio, it really gets you moving! Better incorporation of dance moves into the workout than i've ever had at an actual gym class, too! She starts out with some pretty basic moves from any cardio-dance class (ie. v-step, grapevine), so if you've ever taken a class or two, you know what to expect. following her moves does get more difficult further into the tape...i had to pause it a few times and try to figure out what she was doing. it could be explained a little slower before kicking it into high-gear, but that's the only downfall of this video. It always takes a couple sessions to get used to an instructor's moves, and the same goes for this video. The instructor is high-energy but not irritating. the music is pretty basic, general cardio-dance music. I would reccomend this video if you're looking for a good cardio workout that you can do all at once, or break up into shorter segments!
