4 out of 5 stars The Ultimate Gift   March 23, 2004
This book is interesting. I first started reading this book for SSR (sustained silent reading) in my English class. At first the book seemed kinda slow but that was just the introduction of the book, but the introduction is long. This book teaches you about stuff that you should hold on to, like money, relationships, family. I would suggest this book to 8th or 9th Grader. This book is about 140 pages long, for the Intermediate reader.

3 out of 5 stars Trite and True   January 3, 2004
Cristal Shanda Lear (Cincinnati, OH United States)
It's all good, but I kept hoping for a surprise. I never got one. Just one man's obviously fictional road to redemption. Life just does not tie up loose ends for real people this easily.

4 out of 5 stars Had to finish it in one sitting!   February 26, 2003
Enjoy the gifts of work, money, friends, learning, problems, family, laughter, dreams, giving, gratitude, a day and love while reading through this appealing story and journey into greatness. I'm glad that it starts with the gift of work and culminates with the gift of love. A person who only knows to love but not to work is hardly of much worth. The converse is equally true but is a good starting point for progress in the other areas. Eventually, love conquers all.
