I first found Bruno Pelletier after doing a productiong of Notre Dame de Paris and thought he had an amazing voice. After a quick search on YouTube, I found Dracula - Entre l'amour et la mort. Wow! What is it about the French musical writers? They seem to take the risks that Broadway/NYC needs to take. Infusing rock and classical elements really makes for a fun show. It makes it relevant. br / br /Dracula - Entre l'amour et la mort is just another example of great writing and amazing classically trained voices that can rock it out when needed. While I am still translating this musical to English, it is very enjoyable to listen to. The melodies speak to each of the characters in their own way and you can certainly tell which theme matches each character. br / br /Much like Notre Dame de Paris, this recording keeps you hitting the rewind button to listen again and again. I only hope they can try to score an English version and bring it on tour to the USA.

J'ai ete agreablement surprise de cette version moderne de l'histoire de Stocker... Pelletier donne cet aspect d'eternite au personnage et on voit bien dans les differentes chansons... le duo amoureux entre Lucy et Dracula est aussi tres reussit... Le seul point moins interessant est la chanson de Van Helsing qui m'a laisse indifferente. La chanson des femmes vampire etait bien meilleur et l'on peut tres bien imaginer les plaisirs qu'elles donnent a leur victimes. C'est un CD genial

J'ai acheter cet album des le jour de sa sortie et il est excellent! Cela promet pour le show! La musique est magnifique et diversifie si je puis dire ainsi!Elle est toute en nuance!Les textes sont superbe et plein de sens, par exemple: Ce que je vois, ou, encore, Nous sommes ce que nous sommes . Les chansons sont tres bonnes!Les voix de Bruno Pelletier et Sylvain Cossette me donne des frissons. Andree Watters offre une superbe interpretation de Urgence. Sans parler de Daniel Boucher, Pierre Flynn, Gabrielle Destroismaisons,Brigitte Marchand, Elyzabeth Diaga, Rita Tabbakh et Louis Gagne qui nous offrent d'excellentes performance sur ce disque! Vraiment c'est un album qui merite le detour!
