5 out of 5 stars a great concert   January 17, 2008

For all fans of great music old and new this DVD special is a must. For blues fans a double must - I couldn't find any bad tracks on this set, and so diverse in styles but with that blues undertone that marks Clapton as one of the greats. br /Yes I know its only a charity bash - but just take in John Meyer's superb set and then switch to Los Lobos and Vince Gill - such variety and excellent musicianship - if you haven't got it you're missing out!!!. br /The sound is excellent and for the price you're getting the equivalent of a double album - check it out!!!.

4 out of 5 stars Blues at it's Best   January 9, 2008

This concert is pure enjoyment and chock full of hidden gems. Clapton taking pictures of artists from stage side, Bill Murray going "wow" watching Sheryl Crowe, BB King announcing he forgot the words and check out the bass player for Jeff Beck. I gave it 4 stars because the video and audio is okay, not stellar but certainly acceptable. Rated on it's entertainment value - Priceless !! Which leads me to my next point, ... my fellow Canadians, please stop with the CDN vs. US dollar, Amazon vs. Wal-Mart pricing comments in product reviews. Go join a pricing blog somewhere. br / br /With the Proceeds going to the Crossroads foundation and a spectacular cast of Musicians having nothing but fun and playing their hearts out - you can't go wrong with this DVD no matter what you paid for it!

5 out of 5 stars Fantastic   December 9, 2007

The review is meant for the product; not pricing. Yes it may be cheaper elsewhere (including Wal-Mart), but no matter if you buy it hear or cheaper elsewhere it is worth it. The quality if the video and audio is spectacular. I can't stop watching this..........

5 out of 5 stars Yes Amazon.ca is ripping us off, but the DVD is great   November 19, 2007

There's a lot of great music and stirring guitar playing on these two DVDs, so let's reserve our condemnation of Amazon.ca for elsewhere. But I have to agree with you that this price is way too high.

I agree the price should be cheaper, especially with the Canadian dollar being higher. I am ordering from Abstract Logic - $19.99 US
