3 out of 5 stars Do not bother!   August 6, 2008

I do not find this song good enough to purchase the single! I am a hard core fan her "sticky sweet" album is rated 3 to my standards. Just stick to the album but drop the singles... You will be dissapointed. This coming from a woman that collect's all Madonna's albums singles!

3 out of 5 stars Album version NOT included   May 5, 2008

Beware! The album version is NOT included on this cd, only the 6 mixes listed on the back cover (see picture). br /Other than that, I give it 3 stars since I don't like all the mixes, as usually the case with maxi-singles... The Rebirth (Anthem) Remix is by far my favorite. There's always some kind of a dark feel to anthem mixes, which I like a lot. The final result on this one is excellent; the way Madonna's vocals blend in when the mix quiets down at 1:50 sets the tone perfectly, not to mention the funny "tic toc tic toc" which is wisely used through and through without causing annoyance. Other than that, the Peter Rauhofer remix is also great, more on the techno-house side, perfect for clubs. The Bob Sinclair remix is, well... too funky for my taste, though I can see it becoming mainstream especially with Sinclair's current popularity. Finally, the two other mixes by Tracy Young and Junkie XL are not bad, but they don't offer anything new so they don't stand out, in my opinion. You be the judge.

5 out of 5 stars Tic Toc, Tic Toc, Tic Toc...   April 13, 2008

Before I begin, let me just lay this on the table. At 50 years old (August, 2008), Madonna is HOT! She is well known for re-inventing herself before everyone else, well unfortunately, her latest re-incarnation is more like recycled 2007 gansta pop. But, really, who could ever go wrong with a Madonna, JT, and Timbaland combination. This is an instant charttopper. At writing it was well on the way to No. 1 at No. 3 with only three weeks on Billboard's Top 100 (already No. 1 in Canada). Quite catchy, but not her best work and the video is quite unappealing except for JT's new found fondness for hair. Good for a Summer party or two (or three ;) - ah heck let's just dance the night away! Tic-Toc, Tic Toc, Tic Toc... br /
