Things get crazy July 1, 2006 Sam Doucette (Quebec Canada) To be honnest, season 1 and 2 of TPB are just setting the tone for the series. Its really with season 3 that things begin to be really crazy! Trailer Park Boys is really a gem of canadian television.
trailer park life November 21, 2005 m b cordell (united kingdom) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I first watched the show on paramount and wondered what it was all about after the second episode i was hooked it is a brilliant program well written the cast are great and anybody thinking of buying any of the dvd`s should buy them all i did they have a couple of annoying ads on them but i can put up with that in order to enjoy a quality comedy program. So i would say buy them all and sit back relax and have a laugh.

Trailer Park Boys Rule! January 1, 2005 Chris Murphy (Abu Dhabi, UAE) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
It took me some time to catch on to this and when I first tried to watch it, thought to myself, how lame, but then I gave the boys another chance.....I'm 45 years old, sat together with my 25 year old daughter who was already hooked on, watched a couple of episodes on HBO and alas...I was hooked. I am now living in the Middle East and bought the first two series before coming back out....on Friday nights I can sit here and watch the same episodes repeatedly, laughing harder and harder each time! Absolutely hilarious stuff....I only need to look at Bubbles and start laughing...and him on that go-cart...omg! too funny! love all the characters, Ricky going into that house and being attacked by a killer kitten Ha! Priceless......I hope the humor never ends...will definately be buying the latest season!
Beyond Brilliant December 30, 2004 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I've watched all 3 seasons of TPB on DVD and I am convinced that the shows are beyond brilliant. One has to get past viewing the shows at face value. It's a hysterical spoof of Canadian white trash culture. An exaggerated examination of a sub-class' preference for certain food, drink and smokes. Overall lifestyle choices of what-do-we-have-to-do-to-get-by. Or short-cuts-via-crisis-management . . trailer park style. pIn season 3, the scene of Bubbles playing and singing Closer to the Heart with Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson resulted in such side-splitting laughter that I literally fell off my seat. Bubbles also appears on the jumbo-tron during a live concert. The same goes for the scene where Lifeson gives the perpetually shirtless Randy a T-shirt to put on and he refuses, Bubbles enters the scene and states Listen Randy, if somebody like Alex Lifeson gives you a f***ing t-shirt to put on, you put it on. The entire episode is hysterical beyond words. It must be seen!pThe shows are tightly written with poignant euphemisms, juxapositions of scenes that display total disgard to rules and regulations of society. The Trailer Park Boys are true Anti-Heroes. With many bits of Canadiana mixed in, one of the best scenes is Ricky living in his car or cur - Maritime style, watching the great Canadian classic TV show The Littlest Hobo - Go Canada . . . all the way to the Park! This DVD series is NOT TO BE MISSED! Also, the many extras, deleted scenes and outtakes included in the DVDs are fabulous as well.
