From Amazon.com If animated characters were forced to live together, would they remain their upstanding and lovable selves, or would their "real" personalities peek out from under the artwork? That's the question posited by iDrawn Together/i, a no-holds-barred satire on reality series that trods gleefully on restraint and good taste in its quest for laughs. Co-created and produced by Dave Jesser and Matt Silverstein of iThe Man Show/i, iDrawn Together/i chronicles the misadventures of eight cartoon characters (each thinly veiled takes on famous personas like Superman, SpongeBob Squarepants, and so on) who reside together in a iBig Brother/i-style house while hidden cameras capture their every move. As the first season unfolds, the roommates prove to be on their worst behavior, indulging in illegal substances (i.e., iPokemon/i-style housemate Ling-Ling's fur in "The Other Cousin"), racism (spoiled princess Clara mistakes hot-pantsed black detective Foxxy for a servant in "Hot Tub"), and all manner of sexual shenanigans (a pregnancy scare forces Clara to reveal a monstrous physical problem in "Clara's Dirty Little Secret"). Obviously, the humor in iDrawn Together/i is strictly for grown-ups) and though it's occasionally vulgar for vulgar's sake, the show is frequently funny and well-performed by its voice talent. The two-disc set features all seven of the first-season episodes that were aired (one episode, "Terms of Endearment," which lampooned actor Christopher Reeve's physical impairment, was pulled after his death, and is slated for the second season), as well as commentary from the vocal cast with Jesser and Silverstein, a selection of deleted and expanded scenes, and most amusingly of all, a karaoke sing-along for the show's raunchy songs. i--Paul Gaita/i

nice send up of reality February 16, 2008 Dennis Orton (ontario canada) After comedy central scored big time with Southpark you would think that they would have given a little more attention to this twisted toon. br / br /This hilarious show features s group of cartoon characters from different genres who are forced to live in a house 'Big Brother' style. From the racist (er, I mean naive) Disney style Princess to a crass internet cartoon all of the types clash while trying to share the living space. Season one has many great moments and sets the table for the even better season two compilation which is also available. br / br /This is one of those series that are not very well known so be prepared to lend this it out to a lot of friends because after they watch one episode they will want to see them all.
60% of south park aint bad September 26, 2007 Dan Collins (Ontario, Canada) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Here's a quote from an episode commentary: "60% of south park ain't bad." And that's what the creators of this show think it is. But I think that it is funnier, ruder, more disgusting and way more terrible. br / br /The premise is that they bring together eight different cartoon characters and put them in a real world, big brother type show. But it is pretty much a spoof of every reality show, and more. br / br /If you love cartoons with swearing and nudity (male, female, pig and other), than you will love this show. Otherwise, you will condemn the creators and writers to burning in hell for the awful, ignorant, insensative things that this show is packed with. I can't repeat any of the jokes here for fear of reprimand, but if this review hasn't turned you against drawn together, then dive in and get the awesome first season.

This show surpasses all expectations. The characters are by far some of the funniest stereotypes I have ever seen. This is a must buy item because the episodes will never get old.
