Couldn't ask for anything better October 26, 2006 Emmalene Rheault (Thunder Bay, On Canada) Season two was just as good as season one, kept me watching. Finished the entire season within a week. Can't wait to buy third season. I totally recommend it.
Best. Show. EVER. June 11, 2006 Kendra Knightley 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Just try and watch one episode without becoming addicted... believe me that's all it takes. br / br /In the second season of the critically acclaimed series VERONICA MARS the writers and cast do not disappoint. Kristin Bell as Veronica is as stunning as ever and Jason Dohring shines as ex-boyfriend, Logan. Along with an incredibly talented cast, including Enrico Colontoni and appearances by Steve Guttenberg, Joss Whedon (creater of Buffy the Vampire Slayer) the story follows a horrible accident (or was it?) when some of Veronica's high school class-mates plummet to their deaths in a bus accident. Her private investigator instincts kick in as she becomes obsessed with discovering 'what really happened' that fateful day. br / br /Fabulously written subplots and a continuation of the Lilly Kane murder trial prove that this show is a force to be reckoned with. br / br /On almost every TOP TEN list out there, if you are not watching this show you are missing something very special. More akin to Bogart and a film noir than Nancy Drew, Veronica is THE super-sleuth of a new generation. Stephen King, Joss Whedon and critics alike all agree, VERONICA MARS is one of the smartest, wittiest shows on television. Highly recommended for all viewers, young and old. br /
Normal is the watchword... May 31, 2006 Emilie Fiset (Quebec, Canada) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
...But Veronica Mars is anything but your normal girl. Topping the show's amazing first turn, this second season offered a worthy follow act to the 'Who killed Lilly Kane?' mystery. Still as smart and witty as ever, Veronica Mars, played by the extremely talented Kristen Bell, solves mysteries both for her classmates and on a larger scale, while maintaining a semi-normal life as a teenager with a PI father in a town populated by millionaires and their employees. br / br /Anything but a cheesy teenage soap, this noir, comedic, entertaining series makes you travel through teenage anguish as well as more adult realities like murder and abuse. The dialogue is witty, the photography is beautiful, the stories work individually as much as they make the seasonal arc advance and the cast is very talented. A must-own.
