I really love Battlestar. I adore it. But I can't afford to pay $70 for a single season. I understand how the episodes air, and I understand how the sets are released, but this season came out 2 years ago. There's no need for the price to still be so high. I'd really love to own these, but the exhorbitant cost prohibits me from ever doing so. Do yourself a favour, wait until all the seasons are released and then buy the enormous boxed set that will likely include both mini series, the seasons, the webisodes, etc. It will still be an outrageous price, I'm sure, but I think it will be more satisfying and likely cheaper in the long run. I would feel very ripped off if I paid $70 for a single season, or $50 for HALF a season. Terrible.

See other review for another example of someone who likes to spout of about things they know very little about. First of all, I don't condone releasing a single season in two separate sets. The reason for this was because the first 10 episodes were released 6 months before the second ten. This trend followed with the dvd boxed sets as well which were not released at the same time. Anyone who actually watched BSG should know this. They could have labeled them as two different seasons. Season One is 13 eps, $50. This set is now 20 eps, $62. Since each of the 10 eps is also $50 alone, why is this a ripoff? I think some math lessons are in order. This is not exclusive to Amazon either as all stores carry this double set.

The Second Season of Battlestar Galactica is simply amazing and intense. The reason I'm giving this box set a low score is because I cannot stand the way we are cheated. Season 2.0 and 2.5 is a fancy way of saying that we have to pay twice for one complete season. Why would you break a season into two sets of ten episodes. Oh right, to charge me double. Even worse, they're sold together! Well I'm sorry Amazon. That is not going to work now, or ever. Drop your prices.
