2 out of 5 stars an underwhelming experience   October 10, 2006

this movie was disappointing,to say the least.i expected some suspense or at least some tension, but there was none of that.the makeup effects were not that realistic and sometimes the actors playing the zombiies were out of character, meaning that they did not always act like zombies.also, there wasn't really an ending.the movie was just suddenly over.there was no logic behind it.i was bored throughout but watched until it was over, since it was on the scream channel.anyway, the most i can give this film is 1.5* since it wasn't the worst movie i have seen. br /1.5 out of 5

this is one of the best remakes ever made, just as good as the origional. My hats of to Tom Savini, that guy is a horror god!

DEFINITELY A GOOD ZOMBIE MOVIE AND VERY WELL DONE,BUT NOT A GOOD REMAKE OF THE ORIGINAL.THE BARBARA CHARACTER WAS A BIT ANNOYING, AND NOTHING LIKE THE ORIGINAL,THE STORYLINE WENT OFF SOMEWHERE ALONG THE WAY. ASIDE FROM THAT, THIS IS A REALLY GOOD ZOMBIE FILM AND IS WORTH A WATCH.

I felt compelled to comment on this flick. I loved the first one. And, I love the remake. The addition of color and a bolder, sexier Barbara only adds to the film. They didn't change the original theme of the movie. Just enhanced it! I own the Millenium edition of the first film. And I own the 1979 remake. Lov'em both, but prefer the remake!!!
