1 out of 5 stars The Darkness   August 10, 2008
A Predator's ship, complete with Alien face-grabbing thingies on board, crashes in Colorado, where the face-grabby thingies escape and start infesting the local population. Another Predator then flies to earth to take on the Aliens now running amok in a small American town.

Well fair enough, except that for some reason the film is shot in almost complete darkness and it's nigh on impossible to see who's been poked to death with Alien extendable dentures, or what Mr Predator is actually up to.

What possessed me to rent this movie is still a mystery to me and I'm still none the wiser as to how well Mr Predator got on.

3 out of 5 stars all the hype before release made it an anti-climax.   May 19, 2008

i ordered avp & avp 2 unrated r1 2-disc but much prefered avp.
avp requiem was like "xtro" & the original predator except in the woods,i
was waiting for arnie to save the day but he did not, so nothing could save this movie.all the hype & trailers leading up to the release got you
eager to get the film .true theres plenty of extras & you get the standard avp 2 & unrated version .there was lots of action & the dvd cover said "more gore"but i wanted more story! i am sure you folks will
buy the movie anyway like i did with avp(if you dont already have it!)
but i wont be watching it again in a hurry.
