I was looking for a TV with a brand name I had heard of but didn't want to pay a fortune as this wasn't the main TV. br / br /When I saw this Sanyo for under 170 but couldn't find much information about it so I took a chance as the price was very good especially considering it was retailing for just under 300 elsewhere. br / br /Good Points br / br /- Very clear picture - much better than the 22" LG we had bought recently. br /- Sound is very good - again much better than the LG br / br /Bad(ish) points br / br /- A bit odd looking as most TV are going for the ultra slim bezels the bezel on this is huge and you will either love or hate it, but I think the decent sized speakers help with the sound. br /- Separate power supply with a really fiddly connector - no idea why as the case is large compared to all other TV's of this size. br /- Lack of connections - only the real basic scarts etc, no HDMI or common interface. br /- Remote control - weird placement of some of the buttons like the menu button is exactly where all other remotes have select/ok so every time you try to choose an option you press menu and it can get really frustrating. br / br /You may think from all the bad points I have listed I don't like this TV, but actually I do. This is a great set for the bedroom etc where you just want the basics and have space for the larger than usual case. br / br /Follow on Review:- br / br /Since my first review the Digital TV receiver has failed and I can now only receive analog channels. As Amazon dont have these in stock I rang Sanyo and 2 weeks on they still havent found the parts required to repair the TV. br / br /SECOND FOLLOW ON REVIEW:- br / br /STILL NO PARTS AVAILABLE AND SANYO WILL NOT REPLACE THE TV EVEN THOUGH THEY DONT HAVE THE PARTS TO REPAIR IT. br / br /SANYO HAVE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND YOU SHOULD AVOID THEM WHEREVER POSSIBLE. br / br /HOWEVER AMAZON WERE BRILLIANT AND AS THEY DONT HAVE ANY OF THE TV'S IN STOCK THEY ARE COLLECTING THE TV AND ISSUING A FULL REFUND - EXCELLENT SERVICE AMAZON. br /
