5 out of 5 stars Great value   August 22, 2008
First, I have to say that this is excellent value for money. Easily set up. Easy to control via the remote, and good sound quality. Would recommend to a friend.

3 out of 5 stars for price, great. for build quality, very poor   August 8, 2008

i have just recieved my house party 3 and i have strait away noticed that the build quality is something off a dfs budget kitchen

the front cover is falling off

the piece that slides open to plug your ipod into doesnt slide out properly

but for the price i really cannot complain as the sound quality is good but starts to degrade at high volume and also i cannot get my fm radio to find any stations when i know there are hundereds around here as i use other FM radios fine

5 out of 5 stars Works with ipod touch!   July 21, 2008

I thought I'd let you all know it works with ipod touch because when I bought it I was unsure if it would be able to work through the touch's complex menues but it manages well.

Only minor problem - I got the black one but it came with the remote from the white version!! I'm not bothered though - makes it easier to find on my messy desk!

5 out of 5 stars ..."performs like a 100 unit "   June 17, 2008

Mine currently resides in the kitchen... which is, I believe, where all good 'house parties' end up, but this little beauty does more than entertain whist cooking.

It is probably the best all-round ipod speaker I have ever owned; value for money plays its part when you consider that it performs like a 100 unit and I think it used to sell for 80 less than a year ago.

The only thing that it's missing is the power by battery capability but then again how hard is to use the extension cable when in the Garden... come on the summer!

3 out of 5 stars SOUNDS GREAT SHAME WON'T STAY ON   April 16, 2008

bought the dock after reading many reviews and although when got it home was pleased with look and sound quality after 2 days of only short use it consistantly switched itself off every few minutes. this had been mentioned on other reviews but thought would give it benefit of the doubt. well worth the money for sound quality, if you're lucky might get one that stays on when you want it to.
