Product Description The i-Station3 from Logic3 is a stylish yet portable speaker system designed to enrich your listening experience. With it, you can listen, sync and charge your iPod with just one device - a must have for any serious iPod owner. The i-Station3 delivers high-quality stereo sound through a sub-woofer and 3Watt neodymium drivers. It also implements a 3D surround sound processor to give you a more natural tone. Just slip your iPod into the integrated dock and let the music fill the air. And to ensure that your iPod is always on full battery, the i-Station charges your device even while it's playing. Apart from the regular AC adapter and DC batteries, the i-Station3 has a third power option - via computer. Simply connect the i-Station to your Mac or PC via the Mini USB connection cable (included) and you can now sync and charge your docked iPod. It's a great feature that's perfect for any office or home work area. All these features and more can be found in just one compact system - Logic3's i-Station3 Speaker System.

Amazing little speakers! August 18, 2008 These speakers are awesome. I've owned quite a few sets but these speakers top them all...
The sound quality is very good: very crisp and clear. The quality also doesn't degrade very quickly, with another set of portable speakers if the batteries weren't fully charged the sound would become very quickly distorted and the sound would become quieter... These however lasted all weekend at the V Fest 2008 playing music all day Friday, Saturday and Sunday on one set of 4x AA batteries: I was amazed! Also, it's worth noting I haven't actually dared to put the speakers on the highest volume... I get upto such a point and chicken out because they can pump out music at a stunning volume!
As for functionality, totally flawless. My ipod "classic" fits perfectly and rests against the back so the weight of the ipod isn't on the actual connector.
Also, yes the two speakers are exposed when open, however if you're paranoid about them getting damaged you can just keep the plastic covers closed. The sound isn't as crisp but to be honest, it's still a lot better than you would get from a lot of the other portable speakers!
BRILLIANT July 23, 2008 amazing sound quality, small and easy to take around i would remcommend them especially for those looking for travel size speakers.
Great price i would expect them to be a lot more expensive for what you get, simply plug them in or put in 4x AA batteries and you have great sound for hours.

OK, but not as good as expected. January 19, 2008 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
All the facilities are there for Apple iPods, (charging, sound, USB/iPod link) but I was disappointed by the quality of the sound, which is a bit thin, somewhat tinny. I tinkered with the iPod eqaulaliser, but it made little difference. The speakers are quite small, so inherently more tweeter than woofer.
As a bed-side player it's fine, but don't expect much more.
Does not charge MP3's January 10, 2008 3 out of 8 found this review helpful
We were looking for a dock to charge an MP3 player and play it through speakers. In Amazon's write-up it specifically says 'Charges MP3' but it doesn't. You can charge a variety of i-pods and play various devices including MP3's through the speakers, but it does not have a USB port for charging MP3's. It looks nice but does not serve our purposes, so has to be returned.
