 Small, portable & good sound September 10, 2008

We bought this about 8 months ago from Tesco Direct (Was 20 cheaper than Amazon at the time).
I have to say the only thing i can fault this speaker dock for is the battery compartment lid is a little loose and it fell of when it was packed.
It comes with a travel wallet to put it in and we use it primarily by the bedside as its small enough not to take up to much space but the 30w output fills the room well.
We recently took it with us on holiday and it was invaluable as we plugged it in in one room and just unplugged it & used it off batteries when we wanted it in the kids room or outside. Its also useful to have the line in socket so we plugged a small portable DAB radio through it to improve the sound of that as well.

used this product to hear my ipod music in my room. Sounds perfect, with little distortion. As a room stereo system it works fine. Maybe not good enough for a house sound system

This is a great product that i purchased a good year ago and still use today. Doesnt take up much space, good battery life off charger, loud enough to annoy the neighbors next door and charges your iPod a treat. It does have other ports that I haven't found any use for yet but if you can understand the point of USB, Audio In and Audio Out ports then even better for you!
The only niggle is that the remote is far too easy to misplace, what with being about 4cm long and half a centimetre thin.
Does anyone know where to get a replacement remote for this product though? I lost mine about a week after purchase and whereas it is still perfectly useable without I really would like to find a replacement so i can enjoy the full experience I paid for.

Having given my now 8 yr old daughter my "old" iPod when I got a new one for Xmas & then worrying about uncontrolled listening volume with earphones, I wanted to find her some speakers that give good sound but are small enough to fit comfortably on her desk or bedside table. And quite by chance, I found this little gem! The sound is excellent for its size and certainly adequate for a bedroom. Neat & elegant design, easy to use... perfect.
