Hama CD Box - does what it says June 3, 2008 This product does precisely what it says on the tin, it's a black box and it stores 60 CDs which spring out when you press them in. Well made, looks OK, no problem.
Cheap and Nasty Quality March 11, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Seeing these online, I believed I'd found the ideal storage for my cds, however the boxes were a bit battered on delivery which concerned me, but inside the product was even worse, I ordered 2 of these, and BOTH were of a very poor quality, there were only 2 corners on each unit that were not damaged and when I picked the one unit up it nearly fell apart in my hands. The bottom right hand corner was not glued or fixed in anyway. The plastic inserts were bendy and cheap. I have returned both for a full refund because if I'd have kept them and tried to fill them with CDs I don't think they would have even taken the weight.
Good storage but shoddy condition March 28, 2007 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I was a bit disappointed on receiving this storage unit, as it was in a pretty dubious state of assembly. One of the separators was concave and some of the CD holder racks were askew. Also, I should warn potential buyers that I, like many others it seems, did NOT receive the wall brackets. I didn't actually need them so I wasn't bothered but it's worth mentioning, if this is something you're after.
On the plus side, it's got great capacity and it's far more robust than a CD tower. Did the job for me but there's some serious faults with the product.
Not enitirely impressed June 2, 2006 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
I was not very impressed with this item. It claims it has 'wall brackets' to attach it to walls... nah uh! the onli way i could imagine was with blu tac! The design of it is a fairly clever one and it does look quite good, however the 'spring' system doesnt work very well and it doesnt cope with smaller boxes containing singles or bigger, compilation boxes. Overall a decent product but not whats described, you would be better off getting a different make or a nice stand alone one.
Not Impressed... December 26, 2005 7 out of 12 found this review helpful
I am not at all impressed with these storage units. I recieved 3 more as christmas present, and none of them came with wall mounting facilities as stated in the description, and whats more, one of them was damaged. The backbaord had a huge crack in it and the corners were dented and chipped. It didnt even happen in transit because the box that it came in was in perfect condition, meaning that it was packed in this terrible state, which I believe to be highly unprofessional. As far as storage and useability goes, it seems really really good, which just make it even worse to know that I have to sort this problem out before I can mount them upon my wall. Terrbile. Absolutely terrible. I am NOT impressed.
