good if you get genuine ones June 29, 2008 Sold direct from amazon - I got a actual sennheiser - beware of fakes from else where. Sound is involving - especiallly for bass driven music, but not that accuarte. Good soundstage. The folding design is neat. Sound isolation is good. Plastic case is not that great and won't stand up to abuse. It's a tight fit to get the 'phones in and out of the case. Take a careful look when you first open - or like me spend 10 minutes trying to figure it out! (There's a slot where the 'arms' have to cross with each other). In hot climates can make your ears sweat a bit - and then I prefer earbud design (CX 300), otherwise these are comfortable for wearing for long periods. For the money these are a reasonable buy.
THESE VERY POORLY MADE AND DON'T LAST.!!! June 11, 2008 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
Sound wise I have little to find fault with. They are quite bassey.
LONGEVITY! The wire connection at the Jack came loose very quickly and as a result I can now only hear out of one earphone- I continued to use them despite this and the soft cushion on the earphone fell off. THESE VERY POORLY MADE AND DON'T LAST.
AFTER TEN DAYS MINE WERE UNUSABLE! I emailed Sennhiser and got NIL response.
Advice - try to get headphones with an L-Shaped fixing at the Jack. They last longer.
Fantastic... June 2, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Really brilliant headphones. The sound is amazing. You hear new instruments that you never knew were there before! Had them for about a year now and are the best headphones i have ever bought - they close up really well aswell.
Great!
PX100 vs PX200 May 15, 2008 Just bought the PX200's from Amazon - very fast delivery as usual ! I've owned the superb PX100's for a couple of years and decided to try out the PX200's to keep any sound leakage from annoying the wife ! Bad mistake ! As others have said - totally lacking in bass unless you press them very hard to your ears !! Anyone who rates the PX200's highly should really listen to the PX100's - completely different sound quality ! I returned mine for a refund - again thank you Amazon.
Great but watch out for fakes April 27, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
A fantastic sounding headphone with a good depth to the sound. However, be careful as there are fakes (as noted elsewhere). I just bought a pair through a seller here and the build is poor, the padding doesn't cover each speaker and the "lock" doesn't work.
