Great sound from small portable speakers July 17, 2008
Loved these speakers and used them on holidays, in the bedroom, in the garden for 18mnths.
Sound fantastic
Problem with Connecting wire now means only 1 speaker produces sound consistently.
Nonetheless thinking of buying another set, because of quality sound and portability

I have brought these speakers on two seperate occassions. The first of which they lasted about 3 months and then the sound quality started to get really bad, i think this was due to loose wires, and then after a short time they wouldnt work at all. As the speakers were really loud though and good for the 3 months i had them i decided to buy another set. After listening to the new pair twice they wouldnt work at all, and therefore wouldnt recommend buying them. When they work the sound quality is good, but you can get better value from other speakers on the market.

Bought the SBA 220's 3 weeks ago for my holidays and was amazed by the sound quality of these speakers. With the bass boost switched on they gave a wonderfully rich sound which considering their size and price, was amazing. I found them much better if they were placed close to a wall; it made the bass really boom out. As the other reviewers stated I'm unsure how long the batteries will last, but I used them every day for a week for a few hours and they showed no sign of power loss. My wife was so concerned that they were disturbing the neighbours that she was constantly telling me to turn them down!! I'm so happy with these, that I've ordered another pair for my son who does a lot of travelling. I have no hesitation in recommending these speakers. Excellent value.

Just got these a few days ago and the sound is amazing. I am no audiophile, but with the DBB switched on these give really clear sound with a great range - not at all tinny, as you might expect small speakers to be, and none of the distortion you may normally find at high volumes. They are also well designed with foldout stands and a convenient compact carry case. The only uncertainty is how long the batteries last as I have only just bought it, but you can buy an AC adapter separately. Great value for the price.

An excellent product. BIG FAT SOUND !
These little speakers work really well with my ipod nano. The sound is rich and full. The bass is good (not farty at all) when the DBB function is used and they are surprisingly loud. Obviously full volume and bass will drain the batteries quite quickly (4 x AAA) but if used once in a while you should get a few hours out of them.
