This is a heavy and solid piece of kit, which is reassuring. It's quite simple to put together, but I recommend doing a dummy run first as the diagram doesn't indicate where the different length screws go. So have a go off the wall, just on thumb-tightened nuts, and it's fairly easy to work out. Six mighty 10mm bolts go in the wall, which needs some strength, but makes it feels very secure once mounted. Being a single arm, the flexibility isn't massive, but the advantage is that it doesn't intrude much either. Folded, it's about 160mm off the wall, and 270mm at maximum stretch. It will fit VESA 75mm x 75mm, 100mm x 100mm and 200mm x 100mm, providing two sets of screws for different TV threads.
