If you're like me and always a bit dubious of buying things like this online DON'E BE! firstly check out have many people have bought this and left really good feedback compared to all the other products, and then just buy it.
Apart from the fact it's really really cheap, it really really works very well, even if like me you invest in another aerial like the slxa from argos that costs 9.99 and dc adapter which you'll probably already own it is still going to work out the cheapest.
I get all the freeview channels and the reception is really good, and i live in an area that has problems getting a decent channel without the aerial being the size of a sky scraper.
The channels are all clear and i get no ghosting, stuttering or white lines.
I have this plugged into my desktop pc and hooked upto my hdtv, i am no tech wizzard but this is as easy as 123 to set up.
In case you didn't read of the tech review you can actually record programs with this too whilst your down the pub so you can watch a favourite program later, and yes it's as easy as 123 to do that too.
This has to be the best money i have spent on a bargain in a very very long time.
 Weak signal?! July 23, 2008
I bought this to replace an old, broken one by a different brand. Credit to the seller, it turned up quickly and carefully wrapped. But where my old one came up with 70-80 channels when plugged in to the main aerial, this one comes up with... none. It just says "weak signal" on the screen? Complete waste of money; I'd give it a 0 star review if it were possible.

Like most other reviewers... Can't grumble about this for the price!
As everyone else has recommended... Ditch the puny aerial that comes with it and plug it in to the rooftop... Piece of cake to install, just bear in mind that the dongle is quite large. I've got a pci card with 4 USB slots on the rear of my PC, and it won't fit alongside another plug due to it's size. Happily mounted on a usb with a bit of space around it though! Software was a piece of cake for windows to find and install it. Though it comes on a mini cd-rom which my machine can't play! No problem to stick it in the laptop and copy it across to a pen drive and install on the desktop machine though.
My only complaint, is that the EPG program guide is very very slow to load... May only be me/my aerial but it makes scheduling recordings a bit of a pain...
If you're thinking of getting a TV dongle, this one's hard to beat.

Having read all the previous reviews I must say that the LUPO DIGITAL TV DVB-T USB ADAPTER/DONGLE/STICK FREEVIEW RECEIVER & AERIAL is brilliant.......... providing that you live near or have a very good digital Tv reception. We do and can actually see our transmitter from the top bedroom. The dongle has a aerial strength indicator/rating of 1-10 and the max that we can get is a 7. Between 4 and 7 it works fine but below 4 then the picture is rubbish. There is only one room in the house that we can get a really good reception from this dongle stick and that's in the said top bedroom WITH I hasten to add, the included `wire' type aerial supplied. Recording here on our Samsung laptop with Vista is terrific, anywhere else then forget it even if we are connected to an external aerial for some reason. We also feel that it worked better when the laptop was connected to a mains supply rather than work of its battery....
So to conclude. This Lupo unit is brilliant if you live in a very strong signal transmission area, other than that then perhaps look elsewhere. For the money however this Usb dongle can't really be criticised can it?
V-cheap way to enhance your lap-tops use July 6, 2008
As an add on I cant see the more expensive ones doing any better, so if you are looking for a way to use all your laptops capabilities in the digital age dont go spending a fortune on some thing that only does the same thing or even less. Having used it to record from digi-tv the quality and ease of use was fantasically simple, I didnt even have to ask my 15 year old if I was doing it right it just worked right away.So that being said the perfect gadget for all who like to watch their favourite programes. So people enjoy for a really low cost
