slightly scuffed edges October 10, 2008 Mr. David Graham well packaged, although the black glass edges were a little scuffed near the corners.the corners were protected by small plastic end pieces which were obviosly not substantial enough to stop the "minimal scuffs" near to the corners.overall a good stand for the price.
Worth every penny September 3, 2008 Mr. S. A. Quincey (UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Definately a 5 out of 5 from me. The item arrived in tip top condition, just 2 days after ordering it !! The packaging looked perfectly adequate to me (i was worried it was going to be inadequate and i'd receive a broken item), with lots of polystyrene and bagging round everything. The rubber corners on the glass shelves were all loose in the box, but thankfully there were no breaks. The instructions kinda show you the basics of putting it together, take a quick look then toss them away. Its not rocket science and it only took me 10 minutes. My advice (cos it worked a treat for me) is place the top (top side down) on the floor, screw in the metal rods, and work up. When you put on the middle shelf, support it with the polystyrene from the packaging (there was plenty for this for me) and make sure it goes UNDER the shelf supports. Once turned over it'll be supported then :) Get the next tubes on, then the bottom shelf, then the feet and final piece of back MDF. Get someone to support the polystyrene as you turn it over so you don't put excessive stress on any legs and joins and job done. The unit itself looks a treat in place with my 32" Samsung LCD, DVD player, STBox, PS3, Wii and video recorder. I must say that it doesn't look cluttered either, plenty of air space between everything. None of the glued on parts came off or were loose and i am so glad i decided to be scrooge and take this cheaper option, cos its worked out a treat. I can think of 1 thing i would change to this item though. The cable tidy holes should be cut through just above the shelves rather than in the middle of each shelf space. The cables would be much more hidden. Thankyou Amazon.

We purchased this stand for a new 42" TV and I hoped for the best. I was pleasantly surprised to see how elegant the stand actually is, and moreover, how easy it was to assemble. I'm not the most proficient person at assembling DIY furniture, and this was painless! The unit is the perfect height for a 42" TV and also width-wise too. The finish is elegant and high quality, although great value for money. Its great that you dont have to spend hundreds of pounds to get a great TV stand! Highly recommended!
TV Stand June 12, 2008 P. J. Bridge (Surrey) Excellent value and service from Amazon. Arrived the next morning. The stand is easy and quick to assemble and it does the job. I doubt you'll find better value anywhere. The only slight disappointment is that I bought it to fit into a corner and from the pictures it looks as if it is designed to do so. However the angled shelves are not manufactured to 45 degrees and it won't push right back against the walls. Also it was bought for a 37" TV and in hindsight a slightly smaller stand with narrower shelves might have been better.
