Spent a lot of time reviewing LCD's before choosing this one but glad I did. Great value for money, great looking and great picture quality (just make sure you switch off the 'black-stretch' function). Very easy to set up and great looking TV. Very happy with delivery time etc. Would definetely recommend to a friend. Only downside is it's not full HD (1080) but you would hardly notice and it can still take HD input from xbox or similar.

did plenty of reasearch on-line and visiting electrical outlets the reviews for this lcd tv were spot on got mine super fast delivery well done amazon and city link ive wall mounted my tv it looks fantastic with its black gloss finish the freeview set up was simple i had to alter a few settings to get the best picture and the sound is excellent theres loads of settings for you on this tv so you can play about with them until you get the best settings for you its nice that the speakers are at the bottom of the tv so its not as wide as most other lcd tvs ive been well impressed with the freeview picture quality and it picked up all the freeview channels+radio stations on the 1st scan for channels some of my freeview boxs ive had to scan a couple of times to get all the channels if you get this tv you want be disappointed its sexy sleek even turned of a defo 5 star

Advised relative to purchase this as I bought a toshiba 32" lcd tv last august, made in uk, great looks and picture with above average sound performance, new model av series is cheaper than mine was,now in glossy black finish (like samsung),but doesn't have PC input vga connector (rarely used anyway),top performance,costing little more than a supermarket cheapy, but miles better,buy one!.
p.s no I don't work for Toshiba!

Firstly - Great service from Amazon (and the courier) I placed the order late one night (selecting free shipping) and by 9.30am two mornings later I had my TV.
The television:
This is not our primary TV (which is a Pioneer Plasma) and I had mixed feelings about ordering an LCD (not a fan). However, whilst its not up to the standard of the Pioneer...at one eighth of the the cost of the plasma this Toshiba is really very good. (just don't judge the picture until you turn off the awful Black Stretch function!)
Lightweight, attractive design - highly recommended at this price.
