Excellent value for money October 3, 2008 Red Squirrel (Wales) This sits neatly in the corner of the room with our 37 inch TV on top and looks great. It seems to be sturdy, and there is plenty of room for things on the shelves underneath. We have a Sky box, a DVD player, a Playstation and two speakers all comfortably fitted on the shelves. Our cabling is in view, but if you're tidy with the wires you could tuck them out of sight more. Needs a lot of dusting though!
Excellent value for money September 8, 2008 Andrew Sanderson (Buckinghamshire, England) Ordered on 01st Sept - Received on 04th Sept - Excellent service as always. Having read previous reviews, I was looking forward to "interpreting" the instructions. However this wasn't necessary, as the diagrams were self explanatory. I found it easier to build the stand upside down and then turn it over. The only thing you need to be aware of doing it this way, is that the middle shelf is only supported at one side until the stand is the right way up and the shelf can then lay on the supporting lugs which are on the rear support. That said, it took just over 20 minutes to assemble and it looks fantastic. It looks like a stand that cost 142.99 not 42.99!
CLEAR GLASS STAND August 30, 2008 B. Collings (Ayrshire, Scotand) Ordered this TV stand on Wed evening, arrived 9am on Sat. Well packaged, no damage. Once you decipher the instructions', the stand is really easy to assemble. As another reviews have stated, it's easier to start from the bottom shelf first, then build unit upwards to the top. I've got a 37" LCD TV on it with plenty of room below for a DVD & video player, there's plenty of space for game consoles, speakers etc. Is it worth the money, absolutely, and it looks good too, a nice piece of furniture that'll blend in any where. The only little snag is as another review noted, is the glass is not cut at 45 degs, so it won't fit snug into a corner, other than that, it's perfect. Buy it, you won't be disappointed.
Great Value For Money August 19, 2008 C. Jones (Wolverhampton, UK) For the money this is a great TV stand. Don't be put off by the negative comments about the instructions - it's very easy to assemble (no more than 10 minutes). Crucially the shelves are also wide enough to fit two pieces of equipment side by side, so the unit can accommodate 4 items (plus a wii on its side!). Recommended.
Excellent Value For Money July 16, 2008 Shilen (Wolverhampton) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Like many reviews have stated the instructions are useless! I thought I had some bolts missing as the instructions said there should be some - only to find that they were already fixed into a piece of MDF so these had to removed before I began building. There are also some plastic cups which are not even mentioned in the instructions!!! (these protect the glass from the tubes when putting together - at least I think that is what they are for!!) Once you lay the pieces out it doesnt take too long to work it out yourself and within 20 minutes I had it built and boy what a stand. It is rock solid, large and has the looks of a stand costing four times as much. Five stars for the item but minus 1 star for the rubbish instructions!
