Great sound for the price October 12, 2008 Doc Brown (UK) I've never written a review before on a product I have brought from Amazon (or anywhere else for that matter). Mainly this is because I'm not a very helpful kind of person and not particularly bothered whether I could help inform someone on their decisions. So I think the fact that I am sufficiently motivated to write a review speaks volumes about these headphones. These are the second pair I have bought in the last 7 months and the only reason for that is because last week I trod on the darn thing and broke one of the buds. So for a week I was left with having to resort to the rubbish ones that come with the ipod or a pair of cheap Sharp ones I had bought before I discovered these Creative ones. I forgot how awful those types of headphones are and not only did I miss not having something fitting comfortably in my ear but I disliked the fact that people could hear the music I was listening to. Its embarrassing sharing John William's greatest hits to all and sundry when I look like a rocker but listen to the Jurassic Park and Star Wars themes. I'm not an audio tech or anything so you could say I'm easily pleased but I just know what I like and found these bad boys to be the best things I've ever used with a great bass and clarity. Of course there are likely to be better headphones which cost more but if you're like me and tend to lose things, tread on things, melt things or swallow things then you don't want to spend a lot. For the price and the performance I fell in love with them and now I have received my second pair I can rock out to the Home Alone theme music without getting dodgy looks.
Amazing October 10, 2008 Mr. A. Randall (Suffolk, England) I owned a previous pair of similar earphones- gave them to my sister to use since I wasn't using them- they came back with one earphone dead. Great, cheers sis. So I ordered these for my new Nano. Just something to replace the Sonys, which are a complete and utter pain with their ridiculous cord sizing! Wow. Amazing. The bass is actually intense, better than the Sonys, a very full, dynamic sound (with the equalizer off!) Even the earbuds are of a better quality than the par I owned previously. My only criticisms would be there isn't a whole lot of mid-range and they are a bit over packaged (but hey what isn't these days). For this price you cannot go wrong for amazing, private listening with your iPod.
Bit Disappointed October 9, 2008 D. Clark (Glasgow, Scotland) Bought the headphones to replace a set of Sony Ericsson's that I received with my mobile. The bass is nice and deep but for some songs starts to sound a bit muddy meaning you have to change the eq or turn the volume down. The overall sound also lacks a bit of oomph as well but, saying that, delivered to your door for just over a tenner you can't really complain. Probably the best headphones you can get for the price.
