yes it fits inside , but more space would be good , its an ideal size to carry around .. its well protected and its also protected from the rain .. i saw this camera bag in jessops and the lady in shop placed a PANASONIC FZ18 camera inside and that fitted perfect .. so i thought yes this camera bag will do fine , its better than carring around big bulky camera bags about ..
the camera is easy to take out of the camera bag .. there are small pockets inside for your memory cards and there is a gap to fit your spare battery inside ..
the price is cheap which makes it better ..
but if you want more space and you have lots of panasonic camera accesories i suggest you get a bigger lowepro one ..
but for now the camera bag is alright , not perfect ..

 No secure spare battery storage August 12, 2008
The FZ 18 is a nice snug fit in this case. It has good secure storage for a couple of memory cards in the lid, but that is it for secure storage pockets. There are several elasticated pockets to store things that you do not mind loosing. Even though the quality is excellent, I am looking for a replacement after the spare battery fell out of the inside elasticated pocket and got lost. A new case is cheaper than more batteries.

If you are looking for a case to carry the Panasonic FZ18 then this may be the case for you.
The official DMW-CZS7 case for the Panasonic FZ18 Camera is impossible to buy in the UK (Even Panasonic UK cannot get it). This Lowepro Apex 100AW is a great alternative, and is probably of better quality than the official case.
Tough material, super padding, integrated rain cover and it comes with an integrated top carry handle, integrated belt loop and a clip on shoulder strap.
Will fit : The camera with its lens cap fitted plus a spare battery and a SHDC card reader.
Won't fit : The camera with mounting ring fitted (Mounting ring used to fit the lens hood)
Won't fit : Camera with battery charger.
So in summary, if you want a case for the camera and lens cover you can't go wrong with the Lowpro Apex 100AW

bought the Panasonic FZ-18 camera with the Lowepro 100a shoulder bag but found it a tight fit and no room for spare battery or Lens so go for the bigger size the Lowepro 160 should have more room for camera extras. the 100AW would only be good enough for smaller cameras.
