3 out of 5 stars Review   January 2, 2008

Firstly, let me say that I did not pay the 12 or so that they're charging for this product. I got it free with my Canon Ixus 70. Secondly, let me say that I most likely wouldn't pay the 12 or so that they're asking for this case. There's a reason it came free with my camera. However, without bringing price into the review (seeing as I did not buy it)I will say what I think of it.

The case seems to be made of a sturdy enough material, but I'm not sure how weather proof it would be. But it will still likely stand up to the months of wear and tear that I'm going to be subjecting it to. My camera fits into it, but then so would a Nintendo DS. Rather than risk the camera rattling around I've chosen to use the little net inside (storage compartment for memory cards and battery I'm assuming) to hold the camera. Unfortunately this side is significantly less padded than the other. This case is loose fitting unless you choose to include bubblewrap or something crazy like that.

Speaking of the case's build, my major complaint is that the top zip doesn't open far enough. Maybe it's an effort to make the case seem more tight fitting, but at times it can be awkward to get at things inside the case.

Despite the list of negatives, if you can get this case for free with your camera on amazon then go for it. If you can get it cheap then go for it. However if you're looking for some serious storage then I advise looking elsewhere.

3 out of 5 stars A lose fit!   December 19, 2007

I got the body glove 'micro camera' case when I bought my Ixus 70. Looks like it would be good to protect against weather and knocks but my Ixus 70 rattles around in it - could probably fit 3 of them in there! Not suitable for what I wanted which was a slim case to fit in my hand bag, and certainly not a snug fit for the Ixus 70.

I have a Casio Exilim which is quite slim in design but this case still holds it snug and protects it well. I am a bit of a butter fingers dropping it all the time but no worries now with this case!!!!

I recently bought a Canon IXUS 750 and the Body Case case fits perfectly giving me additional space for memory card storage. I am also impressed with how protective the case is as well as slim line, my husband can slip it stright into his pocket.. great FREE gift.. thanks Amazon

A wonderfully made piece of kit, but as I have a Canon Ixus 960IS, this so called 'BodyGlove' is somewhat loose....... even with spare battery and card in place, the case is still slightly too large for the camera to be able to call it a GLOVE.......... unless you like loose fitting gloves.
