i bought one of these for my partner's birthday along with the waterproof case. initially we were very impressed, but the first time we used it with the case it flooded and wrecked the camera. we contacted Flip who made us send it back to the States for repair. that was three months ago, we've just got it back, and it's exactly the same as when it went away, still doesn't work. so...........nice product but rotten customer service - now waiting for our money back so that we can buy something better!

I very happy with the quality of the pictures and would give it five stars but for the one problem I have had. After using it for five or six minutes of filming the red on/off button stopped working and on the switched the filming on after numerous attempts. When I required to finish filming the only way of stopping was by turning off the power switch. My original purchase was returned to Amazon and a very prompt replacement received. Unfortunately the second one has exactly the same problem.Is there a faulty batch? Has anyone had a similar problem.
I do not want my money returned and only wish to have a camera that works properly.

Received the flip ultra as a birthday present from my boyfriend and i have found the next love in my life! Its so easy to use - even for a techno-phobe like myself and the picture quality is great!! cant wait to take it out this weekend for a night out with the girls! it fits in my handbag and is far less bulky than my digital camera.
Would reccomend this to everyone - just fabulous

If you want a video camera to record high TV quality video for long events or days out you want a proper video camera.
If you want a small lightwaight portable camcorder to record thoes short 5min movies then this is the camcorder for you!
This is a great little device, video and sound quality is good and handles different lighting conditions very well. Very easy to operate just point and shoot.
Software for the device comes loaded on to the device and software is good for saving the video's, simple editing and provides the ability to quickley upload to your youtube account to share the video with your friends.

I don't actually own this camera as I want opinions on whether it will do what I require first, but didn't know where else to post to get seen. I'm looking for a video camera to take along to music gigs, but wasn't sure if this would be suitable, bearing in mind the dark lighting and loud sound. Any comments would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
