Great piece of kit - bargain August 28, 2008 I bought this to play my MP3 plays through my hi-fi, does the job brilliantly, sound quality very good, no hiss, good battery life with NiMh rechargeables (I don't use disposable batteries). I also use it to play Mp3's in the car - with excellent sound quality (Car is has the optional premium sound system)
Disappointing July 27, 2008 Having read the other reviews, it sounded like this product could be very good and just what I needed in the car. Unfortunately, it was not to be. The on/off button seems to have a mind of its own and won't always scan for an available fm channel. When it does, the memory does not work and the reception quality is terrible and the clock needs to be reset each time I switch off the transmitter. I know this item is cheap and you get what you pay for, but I really would'nt bother with this one.
great for price July 19, 2008 for the price you really cant go wrong. the unit is easy to set up and i have found the quality excellent on both my home stereo and in my car. the reception is really good and works over a good distance. set it at 108 meg and you should have hiss free reception as not many devices operate at this frequency. try it.
Works for me July 1, 2008 I bought this to replace a different model that was quite good but went wrong. not only did it replace it but it is far better with better band range and superior sound. I drive lots of diferent trucks for a living and this has worked well in all of them. Well worth the very cheap price just forget the gimmic time and temprature the sound is the next best thing to an MP3 lead
TeckNet FM01 In Car Wireless FM Transmitter January 20, 2008 First one I ordered never came. And when the 2nd one did I wish it hadnt. Its cheap and nasty. Wont work using the 12volt car adaptor. So its batteries only then. Set a preset on the car stereo but needs a tweak every time you turn this unit on. Yes I know its petty but it drives me up the wall. The sound is erm okish. But there is a lot of hiss from some where. Now if it was a tape I could understand it.
Belkin units are down to 12. And in the sale at BHS this unit was 2.99. So all in all I have now put it into the bedside draw. Where it will live along side the other gear I have bought and found to be usless !
