4 out of 5 stars Good Workout   September 22, 2008
Ms. Caroline Cooper (UK)
I was very impressed by Natalie toning up, which is why I bought this DVD. The workout really does make you sweat :) However like some peoples reviews I found some of Dee's workout hard to pick up at first, and found myself having to pause the DVD on several occasions. I found the crunch hard, partly as Im so unfit after having a 2nd baby, so hoping that will get easier. Anyway Im going to try Davinas also to get a comparison. Good Luck!

5 out of 5 stars Excellent all around workout!   September 11, 2008
Mrs. H. M. Bevan-Mohaffel (Wales, UK)
If you enjoyed the Charlie Brooks dvd, then you will love this one. It is with the same trainer, Dee. It is a little less challenging from a cardio point of view, although there is more cardio in the workout as a whole. At no point does it get you as tired as the high intensity section of the Charlie Brooks workout. It does however work your thighs much harder, with more squats, leg curls and lots of kicks!

The workout is broken down into 10 minutes of fun warm out, followed by 15 minutes general cardio and then 15 minutes cardio combat, finished off with 10 minutes of abdominal/chest toning and cool down.

The moves are easy to follow and can be picked up very quickly, I had learnt them all by by second go, but then I do a lot of workouts, so if you are new to exercise it may take a few attempts, but not many.

The toning section is pretty challenging, but is short and the effects are dramatic if you stick with it. I wouldn't recommend doing it more than about three times a week, as it is pretty hard going on the legs and arms. If you alternate this with another workout you will see great results!

I have just recently bought this dvd of amazon,I've done it a few times now and I think it's great. It's easy to follow and natalie looks great.(hopefully I will too),lol.I loved the workout and the new moves I hadn't seen before and I have been to many an areobics class. You really sweat and feel your doing something worth while, make sure you have at least 2 litres of water at hand, lol, you'll need it.So,just buy it and give it a go for yourself. Thanks

3 out of 5 stars Good fun workout, but not as good as Davina   August 26, 2008
Rocky Balboa (UK)
I have been doing Davina's workouts since Christmas, and have really enjoyed them. I felt that I needed a change and so have bought this DVD, along with the one by Charlie Brooks (which is also very good).
This is a fun DVD to do, but I think you need to be well co-odinated to do it as most of the moves are quite quick and can be difficult to pick up. I like the way the cardio stuff is interspersed with squats and lunges to build up muscle strength, but I find the main emphasis is on the cardio aspect of working out in this DVD (unlike the Davina ones where there is a greater emphasis on toning too).
The Sweat section is dancey and will get you out of breath, but for me the hardest bit is the Punch section - this makes me feel very tired! I have a moderate level of fitness and I think most people should be able to do this no problem. The Crunch is ok, but I can't do half of the exercises, although I will keep trying.
I still think Davina's DVDs are the best value - they have greater variety and you feel that as well as losing weight you will tone up, plus her DVDs contain greater satefy instructions. Also, the warm up and warm down exercises in this DVD are too short - again, the Davina DVDs do these much better.
But if you're looking for a good cardio workout then this is still a worthwhile workout to add to your collection.

5 out of 5 stars my faith is restored !!!   July 28, 2008

Just recieved the dvd today , i have too say i,m quite impressed used too do rosemary conleys workout dvds yrs ago , i always enjoyed them but found them not challenging enough . A couple of yrs ago i thought i'd try a change and bought a nell mcandrew dvd , it killed me i wasn,t unfit , it was just unrealistic . I,ve just finished my first workout with natalie and although it was challenging i managed to get through it with just a few short breaks , hopefully after a few more tries i,ll crack it . My legs certainly know they have been worked , don't know if i'll be able too walk tomorrow !! I,m certainly going to try and stick with this one , felt like i got an all over work out and sweat a lot which can only be good . All in all an excellent dvd .
