Good value but poor quality zip on case is a fundamental flaw July 1, 2008
As rip-off accessory prices go, this is relatively good value, on the face of it - there are in fact FOUR items rather than three. You get a Tomtom case; a spare car charger and car suction pad; a mains charger (useful as Tomtom don't give you when you buy your satnav); the cable for the mains charger is in fact a USB cable so can also be used to connect to/charge from your PC. All very good so far...
But, but, BUT...
The Tomtom case has a very poor quality zip (as has been stated in the separate reviews of the case). As soon as you start using it, you can feel it straining horribly. Aware of these issues, I was really careful with the zip, but it still broke after a few weeks (the zip pull-tag broke off and now I can only open it by nearly breaking my fingernails). Unfortunately its the just about the only case available. Tomtom really should come up with something of better quality for the price.
At least Amazon's returns service was good - they sent a replacement instantly and trusted me to return the faulty one within 30 days. Fingers crossed it doesn't break again...

I bought this based on the previous reviews only to be very disappointed. The retaining clip on uk charger accessory has snapped off (now held together with fetching colour coordinated red electricians tape). The zip on the carry case has come off after using it twice, pathetic. Snug fit? Snug like trying to get into an old pair of jeans, looks good but you just .. can't .. get .. the .. top button .. fastened. You get the message .. CAVEAT EMPTOR.

I bought this after getting the 920 on Amazon, as the 920 was such good value via Amazon I didn't mind splashing out on this, and it is definately worth it if you have 2 cars, if you don't then it may be better value to get the bits individually.
You get a case that fits perfectly, the TomTom only goes in one way and fits well and the zip works great.
The fast charger is really good, it works home and abroad, and acts as a second computer adaptor, as the end of the lead is a USB port, that obviously fits your pc or it fits the included adaptor that then fits the included universal plug selections - clever stuff!! Note - the adaptor has a little removeable section to fit the plug, when you get it you will see what i mean. It works brilliantly.
If you have a 2nd car then the sucker for windscreen and cigar lighter charger will be useful as well.
All in all a well thought out bit of kit.
Even if you buy your TomTom on the high street, this is an essential accessory pack, its just cheaper this way all round!!!

Bought this for my TomTom Go 720 and it's pretty good. It includes a wall charger which comes with travel adaptors, a further mount kit and car charger. I find this great for keeping in my husband's car for when we're out and about.
I'd say it's worth it for the money
