Good LP to mp3 recorder September 11, 2008 Having tried a couple of other methods of recording LP's to mp3, this was a big relief. It worked! Mainly because it's a contained unit and not replying of connectivity of deck, recorder and PC. It's not a record player. The sound quality of the speakers ain't up to much but as long as you treat those simply as monitors to keep track of your recording, then it's fine. You need to keep the recording levels down to factory settings so it doesn't "clip" the loud bits. You will also need something to edit the front and back bits off once you put it onto your PC. I use a freebie copy of AUDACITY which can be legally aquired from all over the place on the net. All in all a good product, recommended!
Good value and works well March 29, 2008 17 out of 17 found this review helpful
This item is really easy to use with its touch control to MP3 from vinyl records or CD's - I see the other review says not good sound quality, but this is not an expensive hifi (so you have to have like for like, hence 5 stars, otherwise I would have given it 4 stars), and costs around the same as most record turntables without the CD player and without the record to MP3 facility. For a music centre under 100 with all those features it is excellent value. Search for: B0016P7E66 - if you want another higher spec recording music centre
low quality product March 26, 2008 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
the speakers have a very poor sound, the record arm is not automatic, for a product that supposed to be so advanced it was all round very disappointing.
