Morphy Richards Internet Radio (Ipod/MP3 Compatible).
Arrived yesterday and had been well packed. Completely useless. Switches itself on and off at random. Select button doesn't work 95% of time. Scan process locks after half a second and jams raio set up. I seem to have purchased a piece of junk, going back in the post on monday.
Trouble shooting instructions on internet site are nigh on same as in little booklet that came with the radio; sparse.

I thought my luck was in - an Internet Radio with recording to SD card - so the description says. I'm afraid not - the SD slot is not even enabled for playback. The firmware update suggested in the manual does not solve this - indeed I would stick to the factory version. Apart from the disappointment of this, the radio is good - and great for listen again without using the PC. However it may be worth looking at a battery/mains model not mains only like this.

Nice, though rather bulky, radio. Very easy to set up; had it running 5 minutes out of the box. BUT the volume output is pathetic. With a couple of computer speakers plugged in to the line out socket, it works much better - and in stereo. But this extra expense shouldn't have been necessary. Still good in all other respects, so 4 stars
