5 out of 5 stars GREAT headphones!!   October 10, 2008
Mr. M. A. Woods (Nottingham, England.)
Brilliant headphones! br / br / br /I must have freakishly-shaped ears as I cannot get along with any others...the flat type just fall out of my left ear...don't ask why. I think I have handsome, perfectly formed ears (small, but beautifully formed...I DID play second row in the school rugby team for 9 years...BUT I DIGRESS!) but for some reason these are the only set I've ever used that will stay in...even when walking or running. br / br / br /I've had the same pair for 9 years now! Don't worry-I do clean them, which, incidentally, is very easy to do. br / br / br /They are a nice smooth shape which feels unnoticable in the ear. br / br / br /If you ever lose sound in an ear you might try pulling off the cover and soldering (or getting someone to solder) the two contacts. The flexible cover simply clips back on. Mine did go in one earpiece but that was after 8 YEARS! Reliability isn't an issue, then. br / br / br /Sound is bassy and with mp3 players' equalizers you can tweak away anyhow. br / br / br /I use mine to listen to DVD films also. Better than the full ear Technics I was using....GET SOME!

4 out of 5 stars good headphones   October 2, 2008

the best thing ive noticed about these headphones are the fit. At first i wasn't sure if i liked the design but so far they've never fallen out of my ears which is a problem i used to always have. Another good point about the shape is that it has some noise reduction and generally music is more immersive. br / br /however, these headphones don't cope quite as well with highs and lows as my previous headphones (which had excellent sound quality but kept falling out of my ears :P)and at times in the really highs seem to resonate a bit. might be something to do with vibrations but i dunno. br / br /overall though i would say that these are very good heaphones. br / br /my previous headphones are below incase you want to compare before buying br /Sony MDR-E818LP Acoustic Twin Turbo Headphones br /

3 out of 5 stars quite alright but not excellent   September 27, 2008
Christel Bienert (Sunderland,UK)
I bought this earphones about 5 months ago and I kind of liked it because of the soft rubber earphones. I've read the other reviews and I have to agree on some of it. br /Yes, I get a lot of pain with this earphones as well. It must be the shape of it but I have to remove it every about 20 minutes because my ear is in pain. br /I would've been happy but the RIGHT earphone stopped working as well for no reason after 5months of using it. I was thinking of what I must have done and it stopped working since I keep it in a safe pouch etc. Then I read the reviews and a lot of them who bought this said that their right earphone of this one stopped working as well after sometime. br /Now I have to use only the left side so I'm in the lookout for a better pair of earphones.
