Great all round blender, a little noisy but in terms of looks and build quality it's excellent. No problems so far

I bought this item in 2006 and used it during the summer months of 2007 (mainly). With the start of summer 2008 we decided to use the blender to make smoothies only to find that the motor died. Philips are unable to replace the item due to the fact that we know longer have the receipt and with the cost to fix it, we are better off just purchasing another blender. br / br /I have given the item three stars because whilst it worked it was really a good product. Don't lose the receipt and when the motor dies you will have better luck than I did. br / br /For the amount of money we originally spent on the item I would have thought it would have lasted longer than two years. Unfortunately this seems to be a problem with most Philips items. I am officially no longer purchasing Philips,

Having researched long and hard for a blender and the Philips being the one that stood out, I decided to try it even though it cost more than I wanted to pay. I have not been disappointed. The suction pads are awesome, the product can be easily dismantled for cleaning and most importantly it blends. br / br /I am very happy
