Gone are days of twisting those rusted wheels of can opener, Just put it on top of can, press the botton, and it does the rest. clean cut and magnetic parts help avoid cut fingers

On smaller or larger than average cans you have to press it to stop, other than that I've had no problems and I've had mine since Christmas 2007. The only thing that annoys me is that it takes the top off from underneath the rim therefore causing structural integrity issues especially if the can is full of liquid and needs to be drained [i.e. tuna]. I haven't had a problem with reliability as other may of have, may I suggest a change in diet and eat a little more FRESH food.

Had mine for several months now been very reliable but recently has started to slow down even with new batteries I would assume it's wearing out, shame br /One suggestion It's a shame it is white in colour as it very quickly gets stained when opening tins of beans, soup etc manufactures let's have a black one next time. br /
