I had read several different reports on this toaster before making my purchase, a leading product test magazine quoted "This Rowenta toaster browns bread evenly but is slow and tricky to clean" and the test magazine awarded 4 out of 5 for evenness of toasting. br /Having read some reports I was concerned about making the purchase but I can safely say the toaster has exceeded my expectations. br /I can verify the toaster does produce a good evenley browned slice of toast and takes an average of 3 minutes which is enough time for a perfectley brewed cup of tea. br /Cleaning is simple use baby oil and a paper towel to clean the brushed stainless steel exterior and this will return the item to its original condition. br /At a price of 14.85 no other toaster around this price bracket would come close to the function and style of this item I would recommend this a good buy.
